About us

As our name implies, Lev Kushnir Jazz Agency is a unique, specialized live jazz music service based in Moscow, dedicated to providing only the highest quality music for corporate events, weddings and other personal celebrations. Our ensembles are made up of experienced professionals that provide elegant renditions of songs in the standard jazz repertoire by the great composers of the 1930's and 1940's such as George Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Irving Berlin. Lev Kushnir Jazz Agency was established in 1998 by Lev Kushnir, an accomplished professional musician, producer and teacher. Our musicians also have the ability to play music from the classic jazz era of the 1950's and 1960's featuring great artists such as Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, and John Coltrane. In addition, Lev Kushnir Jazz Agency ensembles can play the smooth Brazilian sounds that became so popular in the bossa nova era of the 1960's, represented by the compositions of Antonio Carlos Jobim and others.

Because each event is unique, we provide combinations of musicians to match the acoustics of the room, the number of guests attending the event, and the mood of the evening. Depending on whether you want a background guitar trio for dinner, an elegant saxophone quartet for some dancing, or a vocalist leading a quintet, we can offer any of the following combinations of
musicians below:

- large ensemble/big band

- classical string quartet
